The way the movements were executed, the rawness and the lack of method transported the environment to a few centuries heretofore, rituals from non-western origins… the magic inherent to the human capacity, the dominance of the occult subjected to the contemporary aesthetic control.
She tossed about through pleasure and rage, as if she was experiencing the moment when we discover a flaw in our own personality. I could see her through the dim lights, I thought nobody could see her in her incoherent position. I wanted to ask if she was ok, but surely she was, how innocent was I, she was whole.
Understanding the language of that environment wasn’t for everyone, it was difficult to understand to which emotions they were bound for (or the reason why they behaved that way), which seemed to me to manifest a profound disbelief concomitant to an extreme level of concealed enjoyment. And this rational incompatibility, at least for me, made me fell for her. The country was caving in and they stepped on it with their taut horses heading towards another future.

A maneira como eram executados os movimentos, a crueza e a falta de método transportava o ambiente para alguns séculos atrás, rituais de outras origens não ocidentais… a magia inerente a capacidade humana, o domínio do oculto submetido ao controle da estética contemporânea.
Ela se debatia através da raiva e do prazer, como se estivesse experimentando aquele momento onde descobrimos um defeito em nossa personalidade. Eu podia vê-la pela pouca luz, achei que ninguém pudesse, pela sua posição incoerente com o restante das pessoas. Tive vontade de perguntar se estava bem, mas claro que estava, que inocência a minha, estava plena. Não era uma qualidade que todos possuíam (de entender a linguagem daquele ambiente), era difícil por sinais, entender a que emoções todos eles se dirigiam ou o porquê daquela conduta que por hora parecia manifestar uma profunda descrença e em outra um nível altíssimo de gozo velado. E essa incompatibilidade racional, ao menos pra mim, me conquistava. O país caía e eles o pisoteavam em cima de cavalos tesos que iam em direção a outro futuro.
